Adapted from the first chapter of Larry McMurtry’s autobiographical novel “All My Friends Are Going To Be Strangers,” this short film follows aspiring author Danny Deck as he travels from Houston to Austin, Texas in May of 1969 to attend a birthday party at Professor Godwin’s house. On the morning after the party, Danny meets Godwin’s beautiful girlfriend Sally and falls in love with her. Complications ensue.
