A Tale of Two Houses documents a special window of time in Tucson music history between the years of 1984 – 1986 focusing on the party houses located at 814 & 818 Speedway, the busiest corner in Tucson (and conveniently located next to Greasy Tony’s, the only late-night restaurant in town). At the time, these houses were the hub of Tucson’s music scene as local and touring bands often played there. A love letter to an era long gone, A Tale of Two Houses exemplifies how young people who found themselves outside of the mainstream, found each other and inspiration in the pre-digital age.
